Regulated industry sets up common standards for social media use
Social media for regulated industries is a difficult game. Legal landmines, ethical problems and various other obstacles stand in the way - problems that are simply not as large for unregulated industries. And yet social media can be as powerful for these industries as others. So it's refreshing to see the alcohol industry is proactively taking steps to address the issue - with the announcement of new guidelines which must be followed from the 30th September onwards. How Facebook's new changes will harm your social media activity
Facebook have rolled out a variety of tweaks and changes in the last week - with newly announced subscriptions now available so users can have asymmetric relationships with each other, and new Facebook Lists, which are thought to be a direct response to the 'circles' feature in Google+.
